MANAGING EVERY STEP OF THE WAY

Partnering with Natural Capital Futures offers land owners the opportunity to generate a return on unproductive or low-quality land. Schemes are not restricted to woodland but include, agro-forestry, rewilding and other habitat creation. All these options can produce long-term sources of income through timber, livestock, cropping and recreation.

·       We can assess the suitability of land for planting, looking at soil types and landscape and then devise the most appropriate planting plan. We will then apply for full funding for the scheme on your behalf.

·       Once funding has been secured, we will draw on our extensive experience of working with land managers to prepare the ground and implement the planting plan. We will follow up by assisting with maintaining the plantation to help ensure its successful establishment.

·       In year five there is additional payment per hectare to the land owner on top of the initial grant for planting and maintenance.
